Black Lives Matter is another organization that has its’ insidious roots in not only in depicting that America is intrinsically racist, but also in the sexual rights movement. According to Black Lives Matter at School 13 guiding principles, they affirm transgender; queers, gender identity, sexual identify, and gender expression and “disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure.”

Black Lives Matter and the 1619 project have unpacked a K-12 public school history curriculum that advocates perpetual victimhood and implies that racism is the innate origin of America, therefore indemnifies excuses for African Americans so called “systematic oppression,” failures.

We beg the differ!

We believe that the smoking gun that have disproportionately affected black lives and establishment of family, post-civil rights era; is the Democrats “systematic racist” policies. It is clearly seen that the absence of having a father in the home has greatly hinder black socio-economic progress, is undeniable. This fracture has led to teen pregnancy, unwed pregnancy, abortion, juvenile detention, high incarnation rates, black on black crime, education inequality and students been trapped in failing schools. These are the racist issues that have created the social disparities and the increased destabilization of African American families.

Likewise, welfare and government dependency have produced economic disparities within the black communities. The lack of encouraging personal responsibly, hard-work, entrepreneurship, and vocational training, higher education, trade skills and schools, etc., has caused vulnerability and a disproportionate dangerous future for the African Americans. The many voices that advocate victimhood, blaming, complaining and finding excuses for their choices have created an unhealthy path and hinderers the potential and future progress of the black family.

Yes, police brutality is inconceivably wrong!  Are we not going to hold blacks accountable for murdering their own brother? Murdering their offsprings?  Are we really this insensitive to immeasurable value of human life, no matter who commits the heinous crime? Are we really this insensitive or ignorant to the indisputable fact that our whole entire livelihood, lifespan matters?

Now, organizations like BLM purposefully ignore, yet support the political demagogues who put these policies in place. Then, somehow blame these things on everyday white citizens, blacks who don’t support the genocide of their own race, President Trump and the Republican party. How and Why?

If America is inherently racist, how do we account for the hundred, even thousands of prosperous and successful African Americans past and present? Former President Obama? Who not only had one term as President, but two. Black Celebrities? Black Actors? Black Musicians? Black Politicians? Black Writers/Authors? Black Inventors? Black Businessmen and Women? Black Entrepreneurs? Black Teachers/Professors?  Black Doctors? Black Lawyers? Black Engineers? Black Architect? Black Successful families? ETC… REALLY?? Explain that?

Indeed, slavery and discrimination are an unquestionably and appalling part of our nation’s history, but it does not define the self-correcting spirit of freedom and truth etched into the 1776 Declaration of Independence.

Booker T. Washington asked, “Is not the American standard the Declaration of Independence?” Bob Woodson the founder of the Woodson Center and the assembly of independent voices of “1776 Unites” and many others, answers YES! 1776 Unites renders an alternative perspective of truth, perseverance and triumph that resonates and exalts the resilience of African Americans and commemorates the progress of America.

Therefore, owning up to our choices, the mistakes we make and accepting responsibility and the consequences for our actions increases our self-autonomy and creates a sense of empowerment. There is an old saying “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Parents, this is why the time is NOW to get your children out of government schools! It’s time to preserve and protect our children’s innocence, freedom and future! “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ” (Colossians 2:8).-Evangelist Latasha Fields
